A Fun Easter wreath craft to make with kids, using mostly items you already have.
Easter is going to look a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still decorate.
My son and I made this easy Easter wreath to hang on our door this Easter.
It was a really nice craft to make with him, (he is 6) even though he got bored and went off to play while I finished it.
You Will Need
Coloured Paper

How To Make The Easter Wreath
Step 1
Drawing The Easter Eggs
When I first came up with the idea I thought I would draw the egg shape free hand.
After a few failed attempts I thought about printing the egg shape.
That was until I found this video.
It is from a YouTube channel called Nalemitho Easy Drawing and was a complete game changer for me. I had no idea how to draw an egg shape before and will definetly be checking out more videos from them in future.
So once I had learnt that it was pretty easy to make an egg shaped stencil. I used that stencil to draw egg shapes on various different coloured card.
I used 16 eggs for this Easter wreath, but you could use more or less depending on how populated you want it.
Step 2
Decorating the Eggs
This is where having a child around came in handy, although it is fun for adults too. I found this out when said child announced he was going to play cars instead.
Washi tape is a simple and mess free way to decorate the Easter egg wreath. Of course you can use paints, pens etc if you prefer.
If you haven’t come across Washi tape before it is a thing paper type tape, kind of like masking tape. It comes in a variety of colours and patterns.
We stuck the tape across in different patterns and shapes before cutting out the egg shapes.
Step 3
Banner For Easter Wreath
For the banner in the centre of the Easter wreath, I drew the shape i wanted out onto white card.
