My name is Leanne and I think the fun of crafting and DIY should be accessible to everyone.
Rules? No rules, just imagination.
Papercraft, party decorations, decoupage, woodwork, crochet, recycling and upcycling to name just a few, I have had a go at most things, sometimes with the help from my very patient and supportive husband Dave.
I wish I had started this page years ago to share some of the previous projects we have completed together. Maybe I can revisit some a little later.
What I will do, with input from hubby when needed, is give you the benefit of all we have learnt about crafting, recycling, upcycling and DIY in the home.
Party Planning
I love planning, any planning, and a huge part of my fun is party planning.
I really enjoy making affordable, unique and fun party decorations. David and I have a son, Kamran, which means I generally create things aimed at children’s parties , but many of these items can be adapted for any theme and age.
Every year I make personalised birthday invitations, decorations, banners and pinata’s for Kamran, and this has led to a whole host of requests from my friends for their kids.
I will be creating videos of how I make party decorations, and hopefully you can get the party planning bug.

Home Decor
I’m always looking for the next craft to try, especially when it comes to decorating our home. When we first moved into our new home I decided I wanted to move away from store bought items. All the furniture in our house was given to us for me to upcycle.
If I am looking for a new item for our home I will always see if there is a way to create something handmade and unique to match our existing decor.
My favourite room in the house is my son’s room, and I am always making things to add to it, or looking for toy storage ideas.
