I’m always looking for the next craft to try, especially when it comes to decorating our home. When we first moved into our new home I decided I wanted to move away from store bought items. All the furniture in our house was given to us for me to upcycle.
If I am looking for a new item for our home I will always see if there is a way to create something handmade and unique to match our existing decor.
My favourite room in the house is my son’s room, and I am always making things to add to it, or looking for toy storage ideas.
I originally wanted to paint a cars / hot wheels themed bedroom wall, considering my absolutely car obsessed son, but he wanted a Lego themed room. The second Lego movie had just come out, and although he never ever stays still to watch a whole film, he loved the characters
My son needed a new mirror for his bedroom. Using my beginner's decoupage skills, a cheap white mirror and a lot of researching 'Can I use inkjet prints to decoupage' this is what I came up with.
