Like so many kids right now Kamran is obsessed with Roblox. Just imagine my surprise when he said that he would love a Roblox party this year, (COVID permitting).
I love Kamran’s birthday parties and it is always an excuse to get out my craft materials and make decorations.
I always plan my parties in stages, so the first step is, logically, the invitation. So I set about creating this pop up Roblox party invitation.
Pop Up Card
I made this card with a pop up Roblox character inside. I think for a children’s party the more exciting the invitation the more they look forward to the party.
Making a pop up card is a lot easier than you may think. I have tried to explain in the video above how to achieve the pop up section.

The Roblox Character
I found this free colouring page here, at cool2bekids.com, which was exactly what I wanted for the invitations.
There a 100s of free Roblox colouring pages online, so have a search and find one that suits your needs.
If you don’t have time to make individual Roblox characters (or whatever theme you choose) for your invitations, you could download and print any character you choose.
The Sticky Bit
I like to cut out the individual sections on coloured card, almost like a collage.
The finer details of the Roblox character are added with sharpie marker pens.
I used a simple craft glue stick to attach my character to the pop up section of the invitation.
Then I printed some text to add to the front. I may redesign the front as I feel it is a little plain. Rest assured I will update you here and on our YouTube channel.

The Finer Details
Nearer the time I will print the party details and add them to the inside of the invitation. That won’t be until much nearer the time, who knows this year, we could end up with an online party playing Roblox on a video call.
If you are making your own invitations, I would recommend not making them too complicated. Unless you are having a very exclusive party, you will be making this card numerous times.
